There is a need to publicize the syndromes occurring in veterinary personnel due to work-related stress. Vets are apathetic or leaving the profession.
Correct vaccination of dogs and cats requires consideration of a broad range of clinical situations and vaccination options, and obliges veterinary surgeons to constantly update their knowledge in order to appropriately deal with the challenges that arise in daily clinical practice. Using a thoroughly practical approach, this book takes an in-depth look at vaccines and vaccination to provide veterinary professionals with the information they require to address the many doubts and questions that arise in relation to this topic.
The book deals with the reconstruction of posterior teeth with direct and indirect adhesive techniques and consist of two volumes. This text, the second reconstruction volume, deals with indirect techniques, defining the current indications but also describing the Morphology Driven Preparation Technique (MDPT), an innovative cavity design applicable to all types of conventional adhesively cemented restorations. An essential added value are all the procedures to treat sub-gingival lesions tackled with restorative methods integrated with surgical procedures related to caries, fractures, cervical root resorption.
The first aim of the book Food, Eating and Nutrition: A multidisciplinary approach was to explore the common ground between all the professionals working within or around the area of the mouth and on the mechanics of eating food such as dentists, speech pathologists, lactation consultants or otolaryngologists. However, this project, over time, thanks to the contributions of many specialists, has come to include the impact of food on the whole body by focusing on functions, organs and on how eating keeps us in health or in disease.
This volume is the passionate brainchild of many hands, featuring the work of members of several notable orthodontics schools, including Milan, Chieti, L’Aquila, Madrid, Naples, and Messina. The content of this book is based on years of experience and research on the part of professionals from the 30-year-old Orthodontic School of Milan. Every effort is made to ensure the development of the fundamental principle on which this school is based – concentrating on a holistic approach to patient care rather than relying on the mechanistic vision of most orthodontic philosophies.
